The ANIA-CARING Call for Abstracts for speaker and poster presentations opened July 5 and will close on August 19, 2011. Please submit your abstracts for sessions or pre-conferences by close of business on August 19.
The 2012 conference will be held in Orlando FL on April 12 – 14, 2012. The theme of the conference is “Nursing Informatics: "Making a Big Splash." This conference again promises to be an outstanding educational opportunity for nursing informatics.
This year’s conference objectives are:
- Identify opportunities in education and/or career development for nurse informaticists.
- Discuss strategies for improving system implementations, adoption and optimization of EHRs or technology at the point of care.
- Identify methods to measure the impacts of clinical information systems and/or technology on clinical and patient care outcomes.
- Discuss innovations in nursing informatics and/or applying technology to clinical practice.
- Identify tactical strategies to develop and/or demonstrate leadership in nursing informatics.
This year’s conference tracks are:
- Education & Career Development
- Adoption and Optimization Strategies
- Measuring and Monitoring for Outcome Attainment
- Innovative Achievements
- Leadership Development in Nursing Informatics
